Standard Poodles

Not only was Cachucha's Lady In Red (Vixen) the first red standard poodle to qualify for and attend Crufts Championship Dog Show, but also she was placed VHC in a very competitive, quality class of 14 beautiful bitches. We are very proud of our girl.

About Cachucha

The driving force behind Cachucha is Rowena Parker. Rowena has been involved with dogs and horses from very early childhood and it is she who trims, prepares and exhibits the poodles. Rowena holds the level 3 (advanced) City & Guilds in dog grooming, as well as the Animal Care College level 3 Dog Breeding Diploma which she passed with distinction. She continues to work to improve her depth of knowledge in the vast array of subject areas relating to her four legged friends. Her most recent project has seen Rowena involved in the enlightening study of canine massage with the Institute of Complimentary Animal Therapies. 

Should anyone have any questions concerning any poodle related subject, Rowena would be happy to hear from you. If she doesn't know the answer to your question you can rest assured she will make it her her business to find it out!

As you will see during your visit to this site, the poodles here enjoy participating in various activities, including comformation showing, grooming competitions, obedience, agility and even canine acting and modelling. They do not live in kennels, but share the family home and family life. Each of them has a different personality which is recognised and catered for enabling each of them to enjoy their life in their own unique way.

Cachucha occasionally has red, apricot and black puppies available.

Cachucha is a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder and as such, health, soundness and good temperaments are of paramount importance. All breeding stock is regularly tested for SA  and vWd and only those who have tested as clear and who also have good hip scores and clear eye tests are used for breeding.
